Yeah well.. I finished 8th out of 9 in the A-main last night  Angry

I got a little bit heated to be honest. There were four kids on the track marshalling for us, even though earlier in the night it was announced that parents needed to marshal for their kids becuase they didn't know what to do. I qualified third and was running in second on the second lap when I got tangled with someone, and one of the kids stepped on my truck to get to the other one  Cheesy

After that I was in the back of the pack with a lot of traffic, and I pushed too hard to get back up front. I couldn't run a clean lap after that and it just got worse. It was still a great time, but I was really dissapointed in not doing better.

I know what ya mean Miller.. Sometimes you get some sorry turn marshals. I know of one Incident myself at CRC that happened to me. Even thought its "for fun" you cant help but getting mad when they dont pay attention.

MAybe we should start having caution laps.. just like Nascar.. Grin that would also even up the field more

I like the way CORR runs their races. 17 laps, they run 8 wide open, then a mandatory caution lap to bring the pack back together, then they run 8 on green.

Hmmm. We were thinking 10 lap run right?? could do 5,1 caution, then 5 more. We just need someone/thing to set the caution pace, or just wing it with who ever is currently in first.

Or just red flag after the 5th lap, collect the pack and start again.

I have been thinking for the Slash racing 5-6 lap sprints would be good. Maybe do longer events too, but with these things running so close once you get up a lap it's pretty easy to sit on it.

We had 14 entries in the Slash class tonight  Grin Still several people that weren't there as it wasn't a points night, and several that were there and said they would be racing but they can't find a Slash anywhere! This is still growing strong and it looks to be getting better.
