Ya'll should have come down to the track tonight.... I must have made 100's of laps.

Yeah, right... I've spent the better half of the day trying to get my erevo running.

Plugged in my battery and the esc smoked. I disconnected it but can't seem to make it work correctly. (can't get into programming mode)

That thing is COOL! With the body on it looks sort of like the prototypes running at Daytona over the weekend. I love those fat little tires, I may have to build a pan car too.

Are happy with the quality/fit/finish of the Scalpel kit? Any headaches?

The fit and finish is very good. There appears to be some slop in the front axles, but not really sure yet as I haven't been abvle to run it, I have to go get a connector for the motor to hook it to the esc. Assembly was the best I've ever built, on each page of the book, all of the parts that will be used on that page come packed in their own individual bag, screws and all. I had to chop and channel the micro servo horn into the larger one that the kit comes with. Hopefully it will hold together long enough to find a proper servo.

Only complaint is that I wish the turnbuckles had a nut on them for easy adjustment. I'll have to find some that will fit and replace the round threaded bar.

That's good to know, I'm sure I'm going to end up with one of these little screamin' demons. I bet Lunsford has some turnbuckles to fix you up. They have a ton of different sizes for 1/18th applications. That's what I have on the Mighty-T and they work great.

I am going to order one myself, maybe as it comes complete from stormerhobbies.com for $99.00. That really is not a bad deal!
