Race for a cause

Ok racers. I found some hotel info regarding the race for a cure event in Wilkesboro. This is also posted on the CRC site under WCRC race track.

Alright, first off, I want to thank everyone for their support of this terrific event.

I have spoken to the Holiday Inn, in Wilkesboro, NC. The hotel is less than a mile and a half from the track.

Matt with the Holiday Inn, has booked us 40 rooms at a rate of 84.00 per night. The normal summer rate which begins May 1st, is 139.90 per night. This is for double bed rooms or king size rooms. These rooms are freshly renovated, with all renovations wrapping up this week. There is an outdoor pool, a huge lobby, meeting space. This rate includes a hot breakfast, eggs, bacon, sausage, grits, biscuits. So there is no need to go out for breakfast, it is all served in house, free. This is all included in the nightly rate.

For phone reservations, the number to call is 1-336-838-1800, tell them you are booking a room for the RACE FOR A CURE. The special rate WILL BE available through online booking, and on the phone. It is important that they are booked soon, as there are very limited numbers of rooms in Wilkesboro, the summer rates go up May 1st and there are other events in the area.

PS. Hampton Inn is also offering rooms at 96.00 a night for the racers, summer rates go up April 21st to 131.00 a night. There is also the Red Carpet Inn, but they do not offer any discounts and the 3 people I spoke to, offered 3 different prices, from 65.00 to 85.00.
