Got tired of stadium trucks without having a track nearby and I'm not much of a racer.  Saw a Stampede XL5 and picked it up for a decent price.  Already have the VXL esc so will just keep my eyes out for a nice BL motor to run with it.

So now I have 1/16 slash, 1/16 revo if I decide to build it, AX10, and now the Stampede...  Neighborhood kids love me when I can keep the slash in one piece. Smiley

When are we going bashing?

Yeah, the short course/stadium stuff is only fun on a track. The stampede will be alot more fun to bash with. Post some pics when you get a chance  Grin

Will do-meant to grab the pics from the thread but the seller removed them.  Stock with RPM gear cover and RPM ESC mount.  I have an VXL 3s Esc that I'm going to pair a motor with.  Either the VLX motor or maybe a castle 4600.  Still reading up on them about what batteries most use and upgrades.

Already shipped-I'm hoping that it arrives tomorrow from VA via USPS but not counting on it.

If I didn't know better I'd say that was going straight for the wall. Smiley

Hoping to tonight-just need to solder some deans ends onto the battery and make a convertor from my traxxas connector to charge the 7cell then we'll see how it goes.

Going to wait for the stock motor to go out-have a VXL system waiting to go in.

Got the deans ends soldered on (def need more practice) and the new 7 cell battery charged.  Need to do some tuning on the front end but I can already tell I'm going to enjoy it just from the quick running around the house.  Will post some pics tomorrow.  Anyone bashing this weekend?  Grin

Had some fun with it outside in the neighborhood.  Can already tell I'm going to put the VXL in sooner than later along with redoing the front suspension as things break.

Couple quick pics-nothing fancy:

Very nice  Smiley

Thanks-Got the pack charged for some more fun tonight.  Definitely glad it has that large front bumper.   In need of the RPM motor protector and probably a wheelie bar or improved rear skid.

From what I've read it looks like the pede/rustler/bandit are similar partwise.  Time to sort through the forums looking through modifications/hop ups. Smiley

Sorry for the late response-been slammed work wise and the RC's have been sitting.

Haven't picked up the motor yet-not sure if he still has it.  Last time I drove it I realized I still needed to work on control/driving it before going VXL but am looking forward to it for sure.
