KEEP UP THE FIRE

« on: September 09, 2009, 08:24:51 AM »

got my hands on a SCX10  Cheesy and I'm planning to scale it up a little Tongue

it came with the rover top and I quickly found a F350 hard body

But, I traded the ford for a set of true scale beadlocks  Grin

I have a couple New Bright hardbodies coming (Hummer & Yukon)  Cool but, soo far I've relocated the battery tray to the front and thrown in a mamba W/19t modified motor

I plan on waterproofing the electronics, relocating the steering servo to the chassis and adding a scale rear 4-link  soon  Grin

Looks really good, I have some model paint if you want to touch up the center caps and make the locker hubs look true to scale. Cheesy

I have some, Thanks for the offer though. Cheesy These hubs are temps (stock SCX's) while I hunt down a set of the true scale hubs.

If you ever need any of the rarer colors just let me know. I have a huge collection of Testors mini-jars of enamel/acrylic paint just sitting around... Have a crap-load of 1/24th scale plastic models too that I need to get rid of!

I don't blame you at all. If it's good enough not to pass on, why hesitate? I'm hoping to get some time in running one of these rigs soon. I may try to get an MOA or Shafty but there's just no telling..
